ValidSoft came to AG through Manish, and it seemed like a smart play from the start. Deepfakes have become so convincing that a cloned voice can now pass for almost anyone, which leaves banks, call centres and other businesses that rely on voice checks exposed. ValidSoft fixes this with technology it owns outright, answering two questions on every call: is this a real human, and is it the right human? With synthetic audio only getting better, AG saw ValidSoft as a company built for a problem that will keep growing.

Founded in 2003 by Pat Carroll, who still leads it as chairman and chief executive, ValidSoft began in London before relocating its headquarters to Hartford, Connecticut. Its Voice Identity Platform combines three products: VoiceID for matching callers to their voiceprint, Voice Verity for detecting AI-generated speech and VoiceMFA for multi-factor sign-in, all underpinned by 11 patents. Momentum has been building since: an alliance with Reality Defender last year extended its reach into live impersonation defence, its verification product landed on Google Cloud Marketplace this summer, and it took Gold at the 2026 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards.
